چکیده

Background: Early childhood caries (ECC) is an aggressive and multifactorial form of dental in children, which the biomarkers oxidative stress may increase. Objectives: This study aimed to compare salivary malondialdehyde (MDA) levels children with early caries-free (CF) children. Methods: To this end, 42 ECC CF aged 4 - 6 years, were randomly selected from kindergartens four socio-economically different districts Isfahan. An unstimulated saliva sample was obtained fasting during past night using spitting method. In laboratory, MDA evaluated spectrophotometrically. independent-samples t-test used examine differences between two groups. Results: The mean level significantly higher group than (P = 0.01), there no significant relationship gender 0.44 group, P 0.30 group). Moreover, noticed decayed, missing, filled teeth (dmft). Conclusions: findings documented a as one products reactions. Accordingly, can be critical indicator determining status
